What is PromptTool.co?
PromptTool.co is a free collection of AI prompt generators and optimizers. Each tool helps you build a detailed, well-structured prompt for a specific task — like SEO content, emails, ads, resumes or images — that you can paste into any AI assistant.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every tool is 100% free, with no sign-up, no login and no usage limits. The site is supported by ads.
Which AI models do the prompts work with?
All of them. The prompts are model-agnostic, so they work with ChatGPT (GPT-4o), Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and most other large language models. Some optimizers are tuned for a specific model.
Do the tools generate the content or just the prompt?
They generate the optimized prompt. You then paste that prompt into your AI tool of choice to produce the actual content. This keeps you in control and lets you use whichever AI you prefer.
Do I need an account or API key?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no API key required. Just open a tool, fill in the fields and copy your prompt.
Do you store the text I enter?
No. Prompts are assembled entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The details you type are never sent to or stored on our servers.
What makes a good AI prompt?
Strong prompts specify a role for the AI, a clear task, relevant context, the desired output format, and any constraints. Our tools build these elements in automatically so you do not have to remember them.
Will content made from these prompts rank on Google or avoid AI detection?
Our prompts produce high-quality drafts, but you should always add your own expertise, edit for accuracy and make the content your own. Google rewards helpful, people-first content regardless of how it was created.
Can I use the output commercially?
The prompts are yours to use however you like. Whatever content your AI tool generates is subject to that AI provider's terms, so check those for commercial use.
